I have helped take care of my family dog since I was 10 and have pet sat both dogs and cats in the past. I have helped with walks, feeding, play time, and cleaning. I also have experience watching a puppy aged a few months old. I love all furry friends!

Avery watched my kitten Calcifer when he was still a baby. He was super needy and still required a lot of attention, especially in terms of eating and play time. Avery was super attentive to all his needs and was good about sending updates as well!
Avery is a great dog walker and sitter! She is attentive to my dog’s needs, plays with him to get the energy out, and maintains good boundaries to practice good training in Brody. I would recommend Avery to anyone who is looking for a dog walker and dog sitter!

I am unable to host pets in my home, but while at clients’ homes, I abide by all rules set by the family and have specific questions I ask regarding pet care to ensure I keep the pet’s routine calm and consistent. Additionally, I will provide updates to the family as I complete tasks to ensure they know I am taking care of their pets. If I am unsure if I can take care of a pet due to its size, I try to set up a meet & greet with the family and pet first but will often do so regardless or upon request. Lastly, I am fully vaccinated with a booster and work to be safe regarding COVID in my personal life.

Prior to watching your dog, it is important for me to know their size, energy level, and any specific accommodations regarding food, sleep, and allergies/medications. Knowing this information helps me ensure that I can meet your dog’s needs prior to making a commitment.
A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks, exploring new parks and trails, and engaging in indoor and outdoor playtime! I am able to adjust to different energy levels to provide enough exercise for low and high energy dogs.

I am currently a school psychologist who works 7-3 pm. I am off in the summer time and am very flexible when on break. When I am not at work, I aim to stay with the pets as much as possible.
