Hello there! I am a 23 year old with dog experience galore! I have grown up alongside many four legged family members and know exactly how to care for them no matter the size, age, gender or energy level! I am very active and enjoy going for hikes. Although I live in an apartment building, your dog will still have supervised access to the balcony to people or squirrel watch, as well as many pee breaks outside. I studied psychology and have an interest in dog training so there are no behavioural issues I’m uncomfortable with. A bonus is I also love animal photography! I will take great pictures of your animal and send them during the stay so you don’t miss them too much. I would love to care for your furry family member and I know I could provide the best for them!! My place is always kept clean so there is no risk that your dog will get into anything they shouldn't. I can’t wait to talk further with you and meet your furry family members.

Left my large, energetic dog with Avery for a week and he came home happy and in one piece. Would gladly leave him with her again in the future!
Avery was kind to both Bear and ourselves. She took the time to help us help Bear get comfortable with her and where he would be staying. He’s an anxious dog but warmed up to her quickly. From what we noticed, she listened to our advice how to take care of him regarding his anxiety.
I have known Avery a very long time, and to say that she loves animals would be an understatement. She has owned, trained and enjoyed animals her whole life (dogs, cats, horses, goats). I have left my Standard Poodle in her care several times, and he was always sad to come home after a visit with Avery. Avery will take very good care of your dogs. She is loving and caring and good humoured. She will walk them, love them and take care of all of their needs as though they were her own. She has a fenced back yard and is very close to several walking trails which I know my dog loved to sniff through every day. I would not hesitate to ask Avery to care for your furry friends. You will not be disappointed.

Availability
I currently work full time however, don’t let this discourage you! I have an hour lunch and am able to use that time to take your dog for a wonderful walk and give them all the cuddles. My roommate also works from home so she is able to be with them while I am at work! Your dog will never be home alone for longer than an hour unless discussed prior to booking.
