Pet care experience
[Pronouns: They/them or Zie/zir] My radius is in Almere and in Amsterdam. I love all animals! I grew up with: a dog, cats, turtles, guinea pigs, chickens, rabbits... I also spent summers at my family's farm. I'm an international student from the United States, here in Amsterdam for two years to complete a Master's program. I'm looking forward to looking after different animals here!

Avery is incredibly sweet and trustworthy. They are really great with our instructions and they seem to handle our pittie very well. I would 100% reach out to Avery again for future needs and would recommend them for any a little anxious about handing over their medium/large dogs.

I am very respectful of other people's homes - I'll make sure to follow all your instructions! I make sure I am in tune with the animals' personalities and needs, so I can give them the care and attention they want. I currently can't care for animals at my own apartment, but I am happy to house-sit/pet-sit at your own home! I can keep animals company, feed and walk them etc. and also take care of household needs like watering plants, taking down garbage cans etc. I am happy to care for your animals and house while you are away!

It's great to know about your animal's personality, if they have any likes/dislikes, any special needs, if they are easy or difficult to walk on a leash etc. It's also usually crucial to do a Meet & Greet beforehand, so that they know who I am!
A typical day
I always want to understand each animal's needs and provide that, whether it be pets, playtime or interesting walks! For walks - I will tailor the walk to the individual animal's needs and personalities :) We can go explore new areas, play ball, find new smells etc.

I love house/pet-sitting! Though please be aware that I won't be able to stay at your house 24/7, because I always have other Rover jobs and time commitments to attend to, so during weekend afternoons I'll be in and out.
