HI! I used to work at an animal shelter so I can assure you that Im comfortable being around animals that are skittish, aggressive, or very energetic. I’d do my absolute best to ensure they’re comfortable throughout my stay with them. I love animals and have grown up surrounded by a variety of dog breeds both big and small. I currently have seven dogs: a German shepherd, Australian shepherd, Belgian Malinois, Pug, and Shih Tzu, and a mix of Pug/Shih Tzu, and an English Bulldog. I can provide whatever care your dog or cat needs whether it be walking, playing, dog sitting, or drop-in visits. I will care for the dogs at the owners house when needed. I have experience in giving the dogs medication when they are sick so that wouldn't be a problem. I would give your pet my full attention to ensure that nothing would happen to them while they are in my care. Prior to booking with Avery, I had only used this site once, and that was to book a sitter for my cat Willow. In addition to Willow, I also have two dogs, Roscoe and Bonnie. They usually travel with me, or stay with their grandparents. These were not my options for a trip I needed to take last week, so I came to Rover in hopes of finding someone to look after Willow, Roscoe, and Bonnie - and that is when I found Avery! Avery was amazing! She checked on my fur babies several times each day over the course of five days. Each visit she sent me pictures and videos, and I could tell each fur baby was enjoying themselves. I get really nervous about leaving them because they are my literal babies. LOL. Avery made sure they were well taken care of. I will book with Avery again! I highly recommend her. She is kind and has great communication. If you're looking for someone who will go above and beyond and give your fur babies a lot of attention, Avery is the person!
I am so very thankful for Avery! I had last minute plans change and needed to book a pet sitter within a couple of hours and Avery responded immediately! She was very good to my dog! She was very prompt at sending pictures and making me feel very satisfied with leaving Dice in her care. She made sure he took his medication and even had an easier time giving them to him than I usually would and for that I was so happy and pleased because it let me know that my dog was very comfortable with her! I received lots of pictures of her visits with him including some during the walks she took him on. I’m so grateful Avery was available and able to help me out with Dice during my trip and would most definitely recommend her to everybody looking for a pet sitter. Thank you so much again Avery, I will definitely recommend and book her for future sits. 5 stars across the board!
We have used Avery’s service on several occasions, the last one for a long period of time.  During that time, she kept the house neat and tidy and stayed in communication on a regular basis, eliminating the stress of leaving the dogs and house behind. Avery showed great concern and care for my dogs, and my dogs really like her. I highly recommend Avery!
Avery is a great dog sitter! She visited my dog 3 to 4 times a day. She played with her and sent me pictures of her daily. My Coco loves her!

A typical day
I usually like to take the dogs for a walk in their neighborhood, play with them outside with whatever toys they have, and the water hose if it’s allowed. My German shepherd loves to chase water.

I go to school online throughout the week, and really only work Friday and Saturday at night, so my schedule would be pretty much open to care for animals at any time.
