Pet care experience
Hi! I'm Avery. I have worked in pet boarding and doggy daycare for 4 years. Long before that, I started to pet sit for my neighbors, family, friends, etc. I have cared for dogs, cats, and even a raccoon. I have also fostered a German Shepard, Great Pyrenees, and Heeler mix through a rescue in Tennessee, and all of them I successfully found a loving home for!

Avery was very friendly and dependable. Showed up on time for meet and greet and scheduled care date, despite ourselves running late! Very quick responses to any and all messages as well. So glad we were able to find her so last minute for Christmas Eve!
Avery was great! She was communicative and sent lots of photos. We’ll definitely be using her services in the future.
Avery helped us out tremendously when our previously arranged sitter canceled last minute. She was away at school when we first contacted her and did a video chat to meet our pets/see what we needed. She was an excellent communicator and sent a lot of updates! Our house was in perfect order when we got home and our pets happy!
Avery was great! Sent us so many pictures while Bruce was there, so I knew he was in good hands. Will definitely be rebooking with her next time we need a dog sitter!

For services where I come to your home, I will keep your pets comfort and safety as my priority. I have no problem working with different kinds of leashes/leads for walks, giving out treats, etc. You know you pet better than anyone, so I will trust your instructions and requests when you trust me to take care of your pet. I have an apartment that offers a few different grass areas to take your pet to the bathroom, and I do not have any other pets. My apartment is cat and dog friendly. As long as your pet is house trained, I have no problems with them hanging out in my apartment free roaming/laying on any furniture! If your pet if crate trained, I am happy to continue using the crate when wanted. I understand each pet has different needs and just want you and your pet to feel safe when they are under my care!

Please let me know if your dog has any sort of separation anxiety, special needs, etc. I have experience in dogs with lots of different needs from working in boarding and doggy daycare, so please just be honest with me! It won’t mean I will turn away the request, just means that I can be prepared the best I can and give your dog a happy experience with me!
A typical day
I love going on walks with your pet. For quiet walks I go around my neighborhood, and for longer more adventurous pups I can take them elsewhere if you want me to! I love taking your dog out for a pup cup (if given permission!).
