Pet care experience
I have a lot of experience with cats, smaller dogs, and exotics including small rodents, frogs, and reptiles. I love to train small dogs and take them for walks. I love cats of any demeanor, playful, affectionate or avoidant. I especially enjoy caring for exotics. I owned two rats before moving back to AB, and they brought me such joy. In the past I have cared for folks' frogs, geckos, small snakes, fish, chinchillas, rabbits, rats, degus, hamsters, ferrets, and conures.

Avery was so easy to work with. She was so accommodating when we needed her to change the date to meet the pups before hand. She sent updates of how the pups were doing and video on some of the tricks she was teaching them. She went above what I expected or asked her to do and left the house very clean. She had left detailed notes of their week together and they seemed very happy when we got home.

I make sure to get information on a pet's routine including their food and their meal schedule, and any commands they know that make meal time easier. I always let a pet take the lead on their interactions with me so I don't cross boundaries - some animals are very social, but others prefer their space and I can read an animals body language well.

I currently am a freelancer and my work is remote. I often pet and house sit for my friends because I'm very flexible and can adapt my own schedule to a pet's daily routine.
