I was raised in a house full of animals-- we always had at least 2 cats and 2 dogs, a tank full of fish, and the occasional bunny. My first dog was Beau, a golden retriever, the sweetest dog that's ever lived. After he passed, we had collies, a Bernese mountain dog, an Australian shepherd; our home was always filled with animal love. I've helped train numerous puppies, and always have a special place in my heart for dogs. I work part-time at a restaurant, so I have unusual hours, but am able to be home for most of the day. Currently, I’m only working a couple days out of the week! I love dogs, and although i can't financially care for one at the moment, I am looking for a way to reintroduce their energies into my life. Last year I made the move up to Portland, but had to leave behind the gentlest chihuahua named Roamie. When his mom weould go out of town, we loved going on walks and snuggling in bed together.
