I have always lived with dogs, from a Shetland sheep dog to a shepherd/boxer/pitbull mix. I love all dogs big and small, old and young, playful and calm, fluffy and short-haired! I previously lived with my uncle, a certified dog trainer who taught me much of what he knows about dog training. I also volunteered at the Humane Society of Central Illinois where I worked with many dogs with varying socialization skills and temperaments. I cleaned their cages, took them on walks, played with them, fed them, and worked towards socializing them. Additionally, I have prior experience as a dog watcher where I have taken care of many different breeds of dogs including basset hound, Scottish terriers, cocker spaniel, German shepherd, and many more. I am compassionate, dependable, friendly, and responsible and I would love to meet your dog!
