Hi, I'm Ava, and I love dogs! It makes me genuinely happy to be able to experience taking care of different breeds; I love them all! I have watched and handled little chihuahuas as well as big German Shepherds. I have my own dog, Sierra, and I am always taking her out to dog parks, to pet stores for pampering and treats, and for nice walks on trails. I can promise you that I will give your dog lots of love and attention, as I only host furry guests from ONE household at a time. :)

So happy to have found Ava and Rover.com! Jasmine had a great time with Ava and we were able to rest easy knowing she was safe, well cared for and having fun. Ava is a great listener and was very patient listening to and managing Jasmine's quirks. We were hesitant at first to try Rover.com but now we are glad we did.
Ava Is the PERFECT dog sitter. She enjoys what she is doing because my dog Barkley warmed up to her during his stay. Barkley is a rescue dog and he has issues so he doesn't warm up to too many people. Ava was an exception and Barkley picked up on that pretty quickly (his dog sense and I'm listening). I would HIGHLY recommend Ava to watch your dog. She is GREAT! She will be my FIRST call to watch Barkley the next time we are away!

All dogs are welcome; dogs who have anxiety, older dogs, etc. I am willing to go the extra mile to make sure your dog feels at home and is well-cared for!
A typical day
Usually, I go on walks at parks near my house with nice, long trails. Your dog will sleep in my room, either on the floor on a blanket, or on my bed, if your dog doesn't shed too heavily! We will spend lots of quality time together during the day, whether we are taking walks, visiting the park, visiting the pet store, or just driving around.

I am a nurse at Johns Hopkins, meaning my schedule is ever-changing, but flexible. My husband works second shift consistently, therefore is home every morning and afternoon to help provide care as needed.
