I’ve had my dog for 11 years now and it has been my responsibility to train him, give him food and water, take him on walks, etc. My roommate in college adopted a foster dog and we all cared for her like she was our own! My time on Rover has given me the opportunity to meet and care for a variety of dogs as well.

I am very nurturing and attentive to pets, and I like to base my care around each individual pet and their owners expectations. My dog is pretty relaxed, so he will usually lay around the house with me while I do work and then we go for walks or play in the yard.

Ava did such a great job caring for my home and 2 golden retrievers during a 10 day trip. She is very responsible and kept up with my dogs active schedule.

This was our first time with Ava sitting with our dog Toby. We had a brief meet n greet which went well, but this was the first actual 'alone time' with our boy. He has separation anxiety and he is a very chill dog otherwise, but just hates to be left alone (he's a rescue). Ava did a very good job in my opinion. She arrived on time, she was prompt to send an update and picture to us of Toby relaxing on his chair while we were out. We got home sooner than expected and everything went fine. We would definitely recommend using Ava, and will be contacting her again for our next needed event.

Ava was fantastic, she sent lots of pictures throughout the weekend and was very attentive to Phoebe throughout her stay in my apartment. She was also very communicative, especially since she was watching her through an ice storm and kept me updated with any changes. Would absolutely ask her to sit again!
Ava took great care of our golden retriever! She walked him, communicated regularly and sent pics of him while we were away. I will definitely use Ava again in the future to care for our fur baby!

Schedule
I am a recent college graduate living at home in Winston-Salem currently working a part time job in downtown Winston during weekday mornings. Because of my flexible schedule, I am available almost full time for pet care— whether that be walks, house sitting, or drop by’s! :)

- I am open to all kinds of pets, but would ask that if your dog is highly energetic to let me know beforehand so that I know how much exercise he/she needs ahead of time!
