I worked with the Winchester SPCA for a little over a year and a half as an animal care associate. I've walked dogs of all sizes and mannerisms. I'm familiar with most behavioral issues and will never shy away from an animal that may need a little more patience and care. I am Fear Free certified and do everything I can to give animals the best and most comfortable care.

Autumn was absolutely amazing. She surpassed all of our expectations. She visited before the stay to meet our dog and learn his routine. She was in constant communication while we were away and did a fabulous job with a needy pup. She is simply the best.
Autumn dog sat for our (now passed) senior miniature greyhound, who was partially paralyzed. It was so assuring knowing what great care she gave to our special boy Preston, while we were away. She is a passionate animal lover! We also have an Umbrella Cockatoo in the house named Angel, who Autumn loves just as much as she loved our dog. I’m thrilled to see Autumn on Rover. She is someone I know I can trust to take good care of our family pets, even as they come and go.
Autumn is by far the best critter sitter we have had! I say critters because we not only have dogs and cats but chickens and ducks. My feathered friends are my babies and she is wonderful with them! She is great about being on time with their morning and evening schedule and making sure all their needs are met. Autumn is not only loving but dependable as well! She will give the best care no matter if your critter is furry or feathered!
Autumn not only is a dog lover, she is an ALL animal lover! I am not a "typical pet" parent, I actually have 8 tarantulas, some are just spiderlings, and some are full grown. She's come to my home, and not only fed my "kids" when I couldn't be there, she also will handle them and let them know that someone is there. It is a VERY rare occurrence that anyone is willing not only to feed, but handle my "kids" when I can't be there! And, I do know that she's great with cats and dogs, snuggles with them, and shows just as much love and attention to others 4 legged "kids" as any pet parent would! She's the BEST!

I am very energetic and happy to go on long walks or run around with your pets! I'm very clean and organized so any mess your pet makes on themselves or in your home I will be on top of cleaning it up!

Things I would like to know include: any special needs/disabilities, age, breed, favorite toys, favorite treats, if your dog is allowed on furniture, which rooms they can and can't go into, allergies, if they have separation anxiety, how you personally comfort them, what tone of voice you speak to them in, tell tale signs that they are becoming uncomfortable, if you have a specific schedule set up for them, how you would like me to correct their bad behavior, how they interact with new dogs, how they do with a leash, and anything else specific to your dog. You can even include their quirks and personality, I would love that!
A typical day
Our day will include lots and lots of cuddles, slow rides in the car with the windows down when the weather is nice, dog parks, hiking trails, treats (that are allowed by you, the owner), and of course any toys of their own or specific activities your dog enjoys!

My schedule is very flexible from Monday-Thursday for walking and stop ins. After October I will be will available every day of the week and will be available for in home pet sitting.
