Hello! I have been in the animal care industry for over 5 years, but have been an animal lover and caretaker my whole life. I have a 3 year old Maltese mix with lots of spunk named Pixie! Though as cute as she is, she is picky of other pups. For the majority of my employment, I have taken care of dogs both in boarding and daycare. This included- walks, feeding, daycare management, one on one play, bathing, and cleaning of the facility. While at my first job, I took care of feline needs of feeding and cleaning condos, but have had a cat my whole life. I learned that in boarding and daycare facilities, it can be overwhelming for some animals. That's why I will stay in your home where your best friend is most comfortable. From my experience in daycare facilities, I understand the basics of dog behavior and how they can feel in a new environment and also how to manage dog interaction. I have given medication to dogs and cats, and this has been either pills, diabetic needles or just simple cleaning over a scratch. I am not a veterinary professional so I only have experience with prescription or basic animal health needs. I do not offer any training advice, only what can help your pup while they're in my care. On my first day in the animal care industry, my first thought was maintaining the wellbeing and safety of the pups. Now with my experience, your best friend will be my number one priority! ***I am working part time at Seattle Humane so I work 9hr shifts Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday. I can do sittings on those days but you might need a walker while I'm at work. *** While in my care, your pup will have a schedule most similar to their daily life. I love getting to know you and your pup so we're both comfortable with your dogs needs. Daily photos will always be sent with a tidbit of how their doing, any silliness or health concerns. I love to always be in daily contact even if it's just to tell you how great your dog is! I require a meet and greet before I accept any service. This is to make sure your dog and I are a good fit, and if your pup gets along with mine if they are boarding in my home. Thank you!!
