Rescued is my favorite breed!
Pet care experience
I worked in an emergency animal hospital for roughly 9 years but have over 10 years of experience when it comes to animals; mainly dogs! My husband and I are very committed to caring and helping animals when in need. We understand they are family and would treat them just as one of our own. My schedule is 8a to 4p in Appleton M-Wednesday; however, is VERY flexible as I can leave as needed for errands. I am home outside of that all the time. I can do pop in visits along the New London to Appleton route. I have done many different pet sitting jobs in the past and would love to do it again! I have watched my brothers chinchillas so are comfortable with small mammals, reptiles (we have a gecko) and rodents. (had rats in the past) We recently added to our farm with 5 baby goats and a mama as well as some chicks! We also have a few indoor only cats and 4 dogs! All our animals are fixed, vaccinated and highly dog /cat friendly! Our home is on roughly 2 acres but the layout is spacious! We have extra rooms in the house for quiet time if the new dog needs some time away from other dogs. We have fostered for an animal rescue over 60 dogs alone in one year. Our dogs are very familiar with new dogs and respect them getting settled. With different personalities with our dogs they are good at exercising the ones that want to play and comforting the ones that need a bit of confidence. We have spent a few thousand dollars on their training as well and continue training for refreshers on our own. The cats like to greet the new comer then usually act like they are not there. The entire yard is not fenced; however we have reinforced the pasture so that dogs can go in there (when the goats are put away) to run free off leash with no concern for them getting loose. We also have some two legged babies : our two boys are 3 years old and 7 years old. We are also due for our third BOY in December!! From all the fostering they are no longer phased by puppies or dogs. They are respectful, quiet and patient. For the most part they ignore the new dogs. They are never left alone with any pet and the pets are not left unattended in the home or outside. We hope in the next few years to even start our own rescue on top of pet sitting!
Reviews
Our Puppy Jojo had the time of her life with Autumn & Ian! Highly recommend!
There is way to many great things that can be said about Autumn! Frankly she's THE BEST! She is absolutely passionate about animals of all kinds & without a doubt treats your fur baby like one of her own! Autumn has experience with a wide variety of breeds, ages & genders of animals. She has experience with giving pets medication & accomedating their needs. I personally think she's the best! She sent me updates & pictures when she was boarding my fur baby with her & her family! She goes ABOVE & BEYOND to make sure that both you & your fur baby are comfortable! Safety, happiness & reliability are an important factor when trying to find someone to care for your fur baby & you can find all of those things with Autumn! Don't hesitate to hit her up, you will not be disappointed!

Information Autumn & Ian M. would like to know about your pet
We would just like to know their schedule, any fears (storms, vacuums, men, etc) If they are cat, dog or kid friendly or any triggers that we should be aware of. Any special needs, accommodations or rules (if they are not allowed on furniture, have to be in a kennel at night etc)
A typical day
We will explore the farm and even go for walks in the country if the dog is comfortable. They will have many games of fetch and exploring in the pasture (mental stimulation with all the goat smells too!) We will even work with the dog with some fun training exercises if you would like to keep their mind sharp and give them some cool fun things to learn while with us!
