Pet care experience
I have had all kinds of animals growing up, but have always had dogs. I currently have two Labrador puppies with my husband and have done all we can to make sure we are up to date on training, care, etc. I recently took a dog CPR and heimlich course and have only had to use it once but was thankful to have the knowledge.

Autumn was absolutely amazing during her time watching my dog. He always kept me up to date on how he was doing, sending cute photos, and making sure I was informed in case there was a change in the schedule. My dog definitely loved all the extra walks too!
Autumn is definitely someone I would trust with the care of any animal. In the 10 years I’ve known her I’ve seen her give tremendous care for her own dogs as well as watching the dogs of people she knows (myself included). She is responsible, respectful and genuinely cares for the well being of all animals. I would 100% recommend her.
I have known Autumn for over 20 years and she is a dog owner herself who takes excellent care of her animals. She is thoughtful to what they need and patient with them. She is gentle and cares deeply for all animals! I personally trust her with my own dog when I am out of town and I never worry and know he is loved and cared for with her.

I have a fenced yard for my dogs and knowledgeable on leash training/ etiquette. I have a reactive dog so actively aware of what to do and avoid when on walks with that personality of dog. I enjoy training my dogs, so anything you are working on with your animals I am happy to support with. Basic knowledge of CPR and heimlich for dogs if needed.

Ahead of time it’s important to know of allergies for treats and the environment. I need to know if your dog is reactive when on walks and how you typically redirect their attention. An important factor is also their stamina- do they have any injuries, do they prefer short or long walks?
A typical day
For dogs I watch I like to take long walks. The trails in Kent are safe and paved if they need a long walk but my dogs love my neighborhood because the streets are quiet and there are many routes we can take. I like playing mentally stimulating games with dogs as well such as snuffle mats and recall games

Availability
I currently work from home with just a few days in the office so drop in visits could easily occur, before/ after work and on any breaks. My role is flexible to where I’m able to make my own working hours for the most part.
