Pet care experience
Neighbors, friends and family members have all relied on me to take care of their pets since I was 13. From 9 week old puppies to senior dogs pushing 15 + years. Small Jack Russell terriers to dogs over 100 pounds. I’ve seen a lot! I know that different breeds and ages require different approaches. As someone who has owned a senior dog, I understand the special attention they may need due to their age! Puppies on the other hand sleep a lot but are up every couple of hours. I am unable to care for dogs within my home. With this being said, I feel like it’s best to care for an animal in a place that they are familiar with and feel comfortable in, which would be their own home.

We always feel comfortable with Autum staying at our house and watching our dogs. She did great with our 10 week old puppy and 3 year old adult which can be a real challenge. She gives us peace of mind when we are out of town!

Every animal has their own personality and routine. It is crucial for me to stick to this routine. This allows an animal to remain comfortable in their home while you’re gone. Unless it’s been pre-approved, I’m huge on not giving your animals any human food !!

A typical day
I think it’s important to stimulate animals both mentally and physically. It can be a walk around the neighborhood or on a local trail. A good game of fetch helps as well.

Availability
I currently work remote so my schedule is flexible. This allows me to have dedicated time with your fur babies before work and on my lunch. Then after work, it’s hours of my undivided attention until they are ready to go to bed.
