dog exercised by fit nutritionalist

Pet care experience

As a child, while other kids were doing a lemonade stands or mowing the lawn for Neighbors, I chose to offer pet walking services instead. I got my first dog Milo at age 12 from a kill-shelter and havent been without the unconditional love and loyalty offered by my furry companions since. While working on my degree to become a nutritionist online, I would like to share my time with your dogs, exercising them and caring for them on days you are not able to. I'd be happy to take them to play dates on the beach, a jog at the park, a trip to the vet or just stroll around your neighborhood. I'd spend the night with them while you are on vacation or just stop by for some company. I am very detail oriented and exact when it comes to following instructions such as feedings or dispensing meds. I like a natural and holistic approach for a balanced healthy and happy dog and it would be my pleasure to share my patience, experience and love with your dogs.

Austin helped me many times to take care of my 5 boxers, 2 of whom need medication twice daily. My busy schedule takes me out of town several times a month. I now travel rest assured that my babies are well taken care of and are in excellent care with Austin. He is very detail oriented when it comes to the individual requirements my dogs have and that is very important to me. Austin sends me frequent updates with pictures. I would highly recommend Austin to anyone looking for help with their furry Babies! Julie M

Information Austin W. would like to know about your pet

While I do not have a breed preference, I do know quite a bit more about the challenges that dogs with short noses face. I have had two boxers and am aware of posdible complications that can arise when over-exercising a dog with a short nose. When meeting a dog for the first time, I would want to find out about his / her temperament, if he/she socializes well with other animals, children or people in general. Certainly, I would want to know if there are any health concerns or any physical restrictions that need to be minded. I believe that most other questions would have to be asked on a dog by dog basis ...as we all know personalities and breeds vary.

A typical day

As a physically fit individual I would be able to offer exercise for every size dog and all levels of activity at the dogs pace. The Tampa area offers many dog friendly parks and even beaches. Depending on the owners vision and the temperament, age and overall condition of the dog I'd be happy to suggest an appropriate activity that will be sure to fit the individual needs of the dog(s).
