I had a Lab growing up and I also had a Chihuahua for over 15 years. I currently have a 1 year old Shiba Inu who loves socializing with other animals/making new friends. She has a lot of energy so we go on a lot of walks and play at the dog park. I live in the Upper West Side and its super dog friendly; we are about a block from Riverside Park and spend a lot of time walking there and going to the many dog runs. I'm typically home all weekend unless I run to a dinner or workout class so your dog will be in constant company. I'm used to keeping my pup busy so your pup will definitely not be bored in our house! I will text and send a couple updates everyday throughout the stay so you know how your dog is doing. Facetimes are also not shamed upon because I do the same when my friends keep my girl haha.
