I’m from Utah and grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, cows, and horses. My grandparents bred dogs, so I grew up learning proper training techniques, and had a dog and two cats of my own starting at the age of 6. My early love for animals started me on a career path studying zoology. I have taken many animal science classes, including dog training and medical work. I know how to administer medicine to cats and dogs, and how to perform CPR on cats and dogs as well. I now work with animal husbandry, and have worked with hamsters, birds, lizards, snakes, and amphibians. See my pics for a smattering of dogs I either owned or took care of the past few years! Additionally, we have a dog named Boba. She is a poodle mix who gets along great with other dogs! We love having Rover dogs over so she can have friends! I am a recent graduate and currently have my PhD in biology focusing on animals and zoology, but this actually allows me a lot of flexibility. I can often work at home, or take a break in the middle of the day. I will be in the West Sacramento area as well as around Davis. As I am very flexible, please check with me if you have any questions! I have a clean apartment and love taking dogs on multiple walks a day, starting in the early morning. I have a yard, but it is not fenced so I always use leashes. I have the capability of crating your pets, but I am happy to have them cuddle with me on the couch too. I am currently working from home so have a lot of flexibility to take pets outside on walks or bathroom breaks as needed and fits into their regular schedule. We allow pets to be with us at all times, including on our couch. However, we always follow guidance from the owner (i.e., if you don't allow pets on your couch we will keep up that practice). Happy to have them over and cuddle though!
