Taking care of dogs is simply in my blood! My mother has owned a dog rescue for over 15 years, and I’ve been a full-time volunteer there since it has opened. Dogs are simply one of the most important things in the world to me, and it’s my duty to make sure that they get all the care they need to thrive! Working in the dog rescue for so long has taught me so much about taking care of animals. Simply put, I’ve learned a great deal about how to take care of dogs that need a little extra TLC to thrive. Every pup that we get in is different from the next, so I’ve learned that you need to be as flexible and patient as possible to make sure that every dog gets the attention they need. I bring those lessons with me to every stay, and believe that every pooch’s personality needs tending to in their own, unique way. That’s my promise to you! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I believe that communication is the hart of every good stay. No one likes being away from their pup for very long, so I make sure that time is as easy as can be. I’m happy to take notes on anything you need to be kept in the loop on, just so you know that your pup is in good hands. From meal prep to exercise times, I’ll make sure to keep you updated on anything and everything. Of course, that will include tons of great pictures of us having fun together as well!
