Pet care experience
I have a friendly one year old mixed breed female dog that I found on the beach that has been raised around all the dogs I watch. I work from home Mon.- Fri. So I am willing and able to walk your dog and give him/her the attention they need. I have a big fenced in backyard. On the weekends I go on hikes and fish so I would love to bring your dog along. I look forward to caring for your dog for however long is needed. Ideally I don't want to watch aggressive dogs or dogs that don't do well with strangers.

I wish I could give Austin more than 5 stars on this review. We are so lucky that we found him so many years ago. He is great with our golden retriever, Rosie, and always gives her the very best care. They love to go on hiking trips where Rosie can get all of her energy out. Austin is always very friendly and helpful as well with scheduling and does whatever he can to help. We used to worry about getting a pet because we felt it would limit our ability to travel, but with Austin, we have found a great dog-sitter. Rosie completely loves him as well and is always excited to jump out of the car and see him. I think she gets a little vacation too! Austin is the best and we would recommend him to anyone.
Roxie enjoyed her week long stay! Austin makes her feel like she’s home! Highly recommend him!!

Many thanks to Austin for taking such good care of Hughie this past weekend while we completed a few home repairs! Austin was very accommodating and understanding of us and most importantly of Hughie, and we look forward to having Hughie stay with him again this coming summer.

Really I just want to know how they react to people/dogs they may not know. This helps in understanding what can and can’t be done with the dog. I also want to know of any health concerns as well as a basic schedule so I can try and replicate that during the stay.
A typical day
Walks, visits to the dog park, fetch with a ball or frisbee, possible hikes and trips to the water depending on the dog. Really I just cater to whatever the owner says their dog likes to do. I can be lazy if that’s the normal.

Being that I work from home I am flexible with pick up and drop off times. This also allows me to make sure your dog isn’t alone in my house for very long.
