Pet care experience
Austin and Jessica are both home full time. Jessica and her family have always had pets, she also has 10+ years of fostering animals, first with Helping Hands Pet Rescue in Gainesville Florida, then as a medical coordinator for St. Francis in Tampa, Florida. She has seen it all, from socializing feral kittens to treating ringworm and eye ulcers. She has not been fostering since the move to Colorado this year but she stays busy with our Golden Retriever Aspen. Austin recently retired from the Army after 20 years and has been very happy to have the stability to finally have his own dog.

Jessica and Austin take great care of our lab. She has a little separation anxiety but happily returns to Jessica and Austin's house and is well looked after. Love the walks you take her on too!
Austin and Jessica took care of our 9-month-old Bernedoodle and we couldn't be more pleased! They sent many pictures to keep us in touch and we saw how much fun Jack was having with their dog Aspen. They were out and about on the leash and playing in the snow. We are very happy that we found these terrific dog sitters!

We have a large fenced yard (corner lot) and baby gates to keep pets on the ground floor where we spend most of the day. Aspen is crate trained for overnight and we can do this for other dogs that also feel more comfortable with a crate. We are up for the day by 6am. Aspen loves other dogs and is ecstatic when he has visitors to play with.

We have children and a golden retriever in the house. While we never leave them together unsupervised we may not be the best fit if your dog does not like children or other dogs.
A typical day
We like to start our day with a long morning walk on the neighborhood nature trails. We have plenty of toys inside and out and spend a lot of time on the back yard and patio.

Austin works from home and Jessica is home full time, Aspen and other pets are able to go outside on demand and we like to walk on the trails near our house.
