Pet care experience
I am a dog momma of 2! Penny and Beau. I got experience with a senior dog, severe anxiety pup and a hyperactive hound dog. My experience with dogs consists of having had four over my lifetime. A miniature pincher who passed at the age of 10. A lab that was my husband’s baby girl, she passed at the age of 14. I am currently learning about ways to enrich my pups’ lives on a daily basis. I do lick mats, active playing outside and activities inside to mentally stimulate them on rainy days. Especially with a hound on our hands, he is a tough pup to keep entertained! You can get an idea of their enrichment meals and activities on IG @penny_and_beau_ Penny is my anxious gal, and I’ve learned how to be around her to decrease anxiety flare ups. I don’t have her on medication, she takes natural and CBD treats from a local dog bakery.

Aurora did great with our pups and helped us out with a last minute booking. She had great communication and kept us updated while sending plenty of pictures!
Took a vacation out of the country without access to my cell phone and left Aurora to care for my dogs in my absence… I felt completely at ease and comfortable with her in my home and loving on them! She is the best

Aurora did amazing with my two dogs! I have one who is very afraid of strangers and will hide, I have another who will run to the man in the van with candy. She handled both their personalities well and communicated the entire time.

A typical day
I recently started doing daily dog enrichment activities including lick mats and bowls, searching for kibble in towels and kong toys with my kiddos. If this is something you’re also doing with your pups, I can do enrichment with them. I’m more than happy to make them lick mats if you have them with your approved list of foods I will update you as much as you prefer with photos and videos throughout the time I get to spend with your pup.

Availability
I am not working at the time so I can focus on school as I finish my degree in civil engineering. And although I have a successful small business that keeps me somewhat busy, I’d like to do something on the side to bring in some extra cash. [[FALL SEMESTER SCHOOL SCHEDULE]] I am attending UTA this fall, so I will be at school TUESDAY & THURSDAY: noon to 6:30pm WEDNESDAY: 10 to noon FRIDAY: 9:00 am to noon I’ve seen how much in need there are pawrents while they’re working or out of town. And although I’ve been lucky with amazing friends and family who help us, I know not everyone can find it. Especially if last minute, and that’s what I’m here for! 🫶🏽
