CPR and First Aid Trained Dog Lover

Pet care experience

I am a knowledge, dog loving, girl who wants to help provide love to your pet! I have a background in veterinarian care, which helps me keep your pups safe when you aren't home. I have an understanding of dog behaviors, their likes and dislikes. I have been raised with dogs of all sizes, my personal loves being dachshunds and Great Pyrenees/newfies. My personal dog is a 40 pound corgi/shiba inu mix, who loves other dogs just as much as me! I live right down the road from Clifford Park in Biddeford and about a 15 min drive from the beach, so when you pet stays with me it will be close to all sorts of outdoor activities. If they aren't big walkers, I have plenty of space for them to be the couch potatoes they have always dreamed of. If I have to step out or work for the day (I work 9-4pm Thursday-Saturday) they will be in good company with my pup and two cats (who know how to hide :) ). If they prefer to stay in their own space, I can set them up in their own private room. They will also have an extra set of hands to play with, as my husband, is home on the weekends and comes home during the day (12pm) to let out the dogs. They will be fully covered from first aid to attention, and everything in between.

I worked with Augusta at a top animal hospital in Charlotte where she would care for pets both perfectly healthy and with all kinds of health conditions and special needs. The care and attention to detail she gave to each pet regardless of their required level of work was impeccable and I would never hesitate to have her care for any of my pets. She has a wonderful attention to detail that allows her to learn multiple pet's preferences, quirks, needs, and desires.

I've asked Augusta to watch our dog (and cat) multiple times. She is completely dependable and wonderful with our animals. I think she shows our dog more love than we even do! We don't ever have to worry about the animals care when we are out of town. Additionally, our dog gets seizures, and I trust Augusta to take care of Daisy (our dog) if one should occur because of her great knowledge and experience with animals. We wish she still lived close to us, so we could continue to use her to watch our animals when necessary.. Anyone would be privileged to have her watch their animals.

Augusta was one of the best dog /house sitter we have utilized. She loved our dogs and they loved her. They treated her like she was family and she truly cares about our fur babies. Augusta was professional, knowledgeable and very kind. I miss her terribly but if I lived near her she would be my #1 person. Her rates are fair and she loves what she does.
