Augelle is very loving and affectionate with both cats and dogs. She loves hugging them and curling up with them on the floor or the couch. The first thing she does when she gets up in the morning is check on the cat and the dog, they both get petted and hugs before she does anything else. She has been taking care of our 2 Pitbull Terriers since we rescued them eleven years ago until their death this past year. She was responsible with making sure they were fed on schedule and more importantly walked on a schedule to keep with their routine. We now have another Pitbull Terrier (Ginger) we rescued in January and she gets the same love, attention, and care as our other 2 dogs in the past. She loves taking the dog(s) for long walks to the Waterfall area in Cobbs Creek Park or to the track near the park. When she is not working she always makes it a point to spend time playing with Ginger and sitting with her while they watch TV together. She is one of the very few people I know who is brave enough to approach a stray or lost dog, bring it home, and take care of it until the pet can be taken to ACCTPhilly. She has found at least 6-7 dogs so far and counting. I swear pets find her and she has kind, loving heart to make sure they are rescued and made to feel safe again by taking them to an agency where hopefully they can be placed in a loving home. Augelle would be a great asset to the Rover Team!
