I have been an avid pet lover and petsitter since I was young, whether it be dogs, cats, fish, bunnies, or hamsters. I have lots of experience with a variety of pets and pet care needs. I am experienced with a wide variety of dogs, from young and energetic puppies to older dogs with health concerns. I have experience administering meds for dogs and cats and have cared for a diabetic dog who needed insulin shots. Recently, I worked over my winter and summer breaks at a pet boarding facility in my home town, where I helped take care of over 100 dogs and 70+ cats at times. I most recently was working in the cattery there essentially managing the place on my own. I am skilled at dealing with all temperaments of animals, and am patient enough to work with extremely nervous dogs and cats. I enjoy bonding with pets and will put in the effort to get them to trust me and feel safe. I am excellent at following feeding schedules, special instructions, waste clean up, and other pet care tasks.
