I have been around pets since I was born. My family’s always had an affinity for both dogs and cats, caring for at least two dogs and a cat at all times. We’ve adopted all of our pets. I have an adopted cat, Sir, living with me in Lawrence. During high school I did pet sitting that involved feeding, pottying, walking and hanging out with the dogs I cared for. I have walked/cared for our dogs for years, providing them food and potty-breaks at their scheduled times. I was very involved in the recovery/care of our special needs dachshund after multiple surgeries. Some of our dogs require medication, which I help administer. I am very active and already go on walks around Lawrence, and would love to have an adorable dog to keep me company.
