Experienced Dog & Cat Lover

Pet care experience

I grew up with 3 dogs, 6 cats, 2 horses, and a veterinarian as a mother. I've literally been house sitting since I was 9 years old. I learned to administer medications when I was 13, and I worked in a veterinary clinic for years just out of high school. When I was 19, my oldest cat Jasper found me. A foster parent brought a five week old kitten into the clinic with a bite wound on his neck. He wasn't able to move. The clinic I worked for decided to take him in, fix him up, make him healthy again, and adopt him out. I was in love after 6 hours with him. I started taking him home at night and on the weekends. He was still unable to walk. I bathed him multiple times a day, fed him at least six times a day, and brought him everywhere with me. After three months, he learned how to walk again. Jasper was the just the start to my fur family. When Jasper was 5, we decided that Jasper needed a brother. That's when we found Wallee. He was the perfect addition. Shortly after, we found our dog, Bernie. I have been so fortunate to end up with the three weirdest and most loving animals I've ever met. I feel the best way to know a person's character is to see how happy their animals are. If anyone would like to come meet my three amazing boys, I think it would speak volumes to my care taking abilities. I also understand how stressful it can be to leave your animals behind while on vacation. Especially with a stranger. My partner (Katie) and I recently moved to Washington from Minnesota. We went on our first vacation together since moving, and we don't know anyone in this area. It was our first real experience with Rover and leaving our 2 cats and dog with a total stranger. But honestly... it was an amazing experience. Our boys were happy, we got updates and pictures throughout the day, and the person spent real quality time with each of our boys. It was a huge relief. My goal is to provide the same experience that I received to others. I also understand that every animal is different. I'm more than willing to be as flexible as need be... whether that be staying in with your animals, being super active with your animals, going to the dog park, avoiding dog parks and crowded spaces (for those who are dog-reactive), working on training, playing fetch, literally whatever you need me to in order to make your time away less stressful for you and your fur babies. Services for Cats: Drop-In Visits: $15.00/visit Additional Cats: $5.00/visit Overnights: $30.00/night Additional Cats: $5.00/night Dog Boarding: The safety of our cats comes first. Dogs that stay in our home must have prior positive experience with cats. After confirming this, we will need to have a safe and positive introduction with our cats prior to booking any boarding of dogs.

Audrey has been walking our pup for a little over 2 months (maybe longer, time flies!) and we couldn’t be more thankful to have her. She is incredibly reliable, communicates well and we can tell Ziggy loves his time with her! For anyone who is seeking someone that is trustworthy, has a sense of humor and genuinely cares for animals, we couldn’t recommend her enough.

This was our first trip away from our fur babies and I was nervous. Audrey came over and met with me and the furries and they took to her right away, which helped to alleviate my concern. We hadn't even settled into our hotel before Audrey sent a message and pictures of the furries and it was so reassuring, that from that point forward, we enjoyed our vacation and came home to some happy pups. Audrey was kind, caring and loving to our pups. One of them needs medication and doesn't take to too many people, but Audrey was able to win her and now two of her biggest fans live here! Audrey even sent a message the night we got home to ensure we had arrived home and there were no delays, so the pups were taken care of. We will absolutely use Audrey again, she was wonderful!

Audrey was the bomb! She is super sweet and her demeanor is so gentle. I really enjoyed having her walk my little pup. He’s still learning how to go outside and Audrey went above and beyond to clean up accidents in his cage. I couldn’t have asked for more and will definitely be booking with her again soon!
