Pet care experience
I am a foster along with a volunteer for Austin Animal Center, Austin Pets Alive and my favorite rescue group, Classic Canines! I tend to foster the more vulnerable dogs. I take this seriously and believe in finding them not only a home but the perfect home. I also walk and open my home to dogsit. I've handled all breeds and sizes. I've had labs or retrievers most of my life but currently love and live with a foster fail GSD mix named Belle. I have walked, cared for and loved many breeds since childhood. We have a fenced back yard and live in a dog friendly neighborhood. My house is equipped to adapt to dogs that are free rangers to dogs that prefer to be crated or away from other dogs. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or special instructions regarding your precious family member. I look forward to providing a safe, loving and fun environment for your best buddy while you are away!

Audrey was very accommodating to our “special needs” dog. My dog is nervous and rarely eats and won’t walk on hardwood or tile floors. Audrey went to great lengths to make it an easier stay for our pup. She lined up carpets and even bought special food! Great communication and fun pictures daily.
Audrey was so great! I left my dog, Maggie, with her for 4 days and she sent me pictures of what a fun time they were having each day. She even did some training with Maggie while she was there. Maggie got along super well with Audrey's dog, Belle. She almost seemed disappointed to leave! The best was how tired Maggie was when I got her into the car. She passed out sitting up in the car on the way home! Thank you so much for giving my dog a great vacation, Audrey!

Audrey and her family are truly wonderful. Our 7 month old Loki felt right at home instantly at their place and loved his time with them. I feel so fortunate to have found such a great place for our beloved dog.

A typical day
We have a neighborhood park that we walk to. The backyard has room for playing and a little doggy pool that the dogs love to play in. We have a large deck that is like a tree house for the dogs. They can chill in the sun, play with friends or watch the wildlife in the greenbelt behind our house. If ok with owner, I can also take dogs on field trips to some of the wonderful dog parks that this area provides.
