I got my vet certification at Tate high school’s 4 year veterinary program. I’ve always had a passion for animals of all shapes and sizes. When I was only 11 years old, I created a pet care/sitting business. I created and passed around flyers advertising my business to my entire neighborhood. I actually had very good luck and had a full schedule of people needing help with their pets. I had reoccurring customers, some that still reach out to me today, 12 years later!! I have 2 dogs of my own, one I raised from a puppy and one I just rescued about a year ago. The dog I raised, I’ve trained completely on my own. I am very proud of how much I’ve taught her, she knows “no”, sit, lay, come, heel, between, shake, other paw, spin, backup, bow, speak, bang (play dead), get it (point at something and she will pick it up and hand it to you), catch, stay, come, go to bed, and she’s trained to go for a walk off leash.
