Pet care experience
Hi I'm Audrey! I grew up with a Pembrokeshire Corgi and two Beagles in Bucks County, England and now find myself in Bucks County, PA! I have been blessed with the company of many dogs. My husband Dan and I, adopted a black and white Beagle rescue dog from West Virginia called Rosie when we first arrived in NYC - she lived to the grand old age of 19. In her last two years, she was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma of the spleen and we embarked on a journey of holistic medicine and acupuncture, she was mobile right up until the week she left us. During that time, I have advocated holistic health for dogs where possible. Soon after, I was very much involved and still am with a non-profit charity, Nana's Haven. I have since adopted 2 rescue Jindo dogs and I am currently fostering a terrier mix. Friends' dogs and foster dogs have boarded in our home for over 15 years. Dogs that come to stay with us enjoy running and playing in our fenced 3 acres of garden and sleep inside our house with plenty of space, uncrated or crated depending on your dog's needs, and routines. We welcome dogs, puppies, seniors, and pets with disabilities. We only have 2-to 3 guests at a time, depending on compatibility and needs. Your dog is our dog in our home with our resident dogs Kodi & Hailey and foster Banana, 2 teenage boys, and husband! Please get in touch if you have any questions.
Reviews
Audrey took the time to meet our family and dog before the stay and asked many questions to make sure she knew Bella’s routine and favorites to make the transition easier. She and her family took excellent care of our lab and in the pictures our dog looked very happy. We would definitely recommend Audrey!!
Bazil had a great time at Audrey's. She took great care of him and sent me lots of photos and videos. She has a beautiful spacious home and large backyard for him to run around and play.
Could not recommend Audrey more highly!! We have boarded our 8 year old Goldendoodle with Audrey for years -- and now she sits for our new Sheepadoodle puppy, too. Our dogs absolutely love Audrey and love hanging out at her house, swimming in the pool, exploring, being part of the pack. It's like dog summer camp all year round! I feel like our dogs always come back happier and better behaved to boot -- I don't know how, but Audrey is a dog whisperer!
I am delighted to write a review for Audrey. She took care of my 6 month old labradoodle, Juno when I went away for the weekend. Audrey picked up Juno at our Brooklyn home and took her to her beautiful home in PA where Juno was able to run around and played with other dogs. Juno had some issues socializing with other dogs in Brooklyn but she definitely made new friends in PA. Audrey sent me lots of photos and videos of Juno during her stay there. I knew Juno was safe, well taken care of and had lots of fun in PA. I highly recommend Audrey for dog boarding and especially for dogs in NYC where they can enjoy a weekend getaway. Audrey did an excellent job taking care of Juno!
