Hello, i have been caring for pets in my home and others for over 20 years. 2 years ago i also attended Animal Behavior College and became a certified dog trainer to better help the animals in my care. I have 2 of my own dogs, as well as a cat. In addition to my own animals i have fostered for years with several agencies in and around SA. My own dogs include Tessa, a 12 yr old boston terrier, Asima, a 4 yr old german shepherd mix and Oliver a 2 yr old domestic shorthair cat. All of my animals are dog friendly, but dont like to rough house with our guests. Asima is actually a trained service dog, we completed that training together about 2 years ago. I am a veteran with 9 years of active duty service in the Air Force, and i now work at Petco corporate. my home is fully pet friendly, i have a privacy fenced back yard with a padlocked gate and a dog door so the animals always have access to potty breaks and fun in the sun. i do allow dogs on my furniture and they are welcome to sleep with me at night if they choose. if you do not allow dogs on the bed and you would prefer i did not, that can be arranged. due to my awesome work place i am allowed to bring up to 2 dogs with me to work everyday, so more often than not your pet would accompany me to work and get to meet new friends during their stay. Audrey is an amazing host to our Great Dane mix. He always comes back in a great mood and we get progress pictures and reports from her. She typically takes him for walks and he enjoys playing with her German Shepherd Asima.
Audrey is amazing! She takes care of my rescue dog who's very scared of everything! She's very patient, loving and assertive when necessary (like when he starts chewing on a pillow or a bed). I don't trust anyone as much as I trust Audrey. She has so much experience with dogs of all sorts and I recommend her to friends all the time. Your dog baby will definitely be safe with her.
Audrey has watched my 2 year old Airedale often. My dog Teddy means the world to me, I don't trust anyone but Audrey to take care of him worry free on my end. She is very experienced with dogs and is very in tuned with them emotionally, making the most worried dog feel at home. If you want to leave your dog with a caring person who is beyond qualified, Audrey is the perfect person for you to leave you pup worry free.
Audrey is amazing with dogs (and other animals, too!). I've been lucky to have her when I've gone away on vacation or for work and she'd go twice a day to my house and feed, water, and exercise my dogs. They adore her! Apparently they're even better behaved with her than they are with me :) One of my dogs is mentally challenged and can be a handful, but Audrey is a pro and has zero issues with her - I think part of it is because she's an experienced dog trainer, but I also think part of it is because she connects with dogs in a way many people don't. She treats them like they are one of the family, and I trust her with my pets and with my house key. She even brought my mail in for me and fed my chickens!!
