Pet care experience
Reach out to us in English, Portuguese, or Spanish! ¡Comuníquese conmigo en español! Entre em contato comigo em Português! We are confident that your dogs will have a great time with us. We have experience with different breeds and personalities; we are familiar with a range of K-9 medical needs, and we volunteer with non-profit rescues. From our experience working with animals, we can administer oral and topical medications for cats and dogs. In the past, we have also worked as grooming assistants. Therefore, if available, we can assist with basic grooming needs. Before check-in, here's what you can expect: - A clean, disinfected environment. - We ask that your dog's vaccinations be up-to-date (Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella) to ensure the safety of all pets in our care. Note: We do not accept meet and greets or stays for pets whose vaccines are not updated. - Please let us know if your pet has medical or behavioral conditions. We ask that you share information ahead of time to ensure your pet and our other clients are safe. - A meet and greet at our home. We recommend this step so you can see our work, and your pup can get to know our new environment before their stay. - A reminder the day before arrival to answer any questions and remind you what to pack for your best friend's stay! (It's like a vacation but for your dog!) During the stay, here's what you can expect: - Two to three updates per day with pictures (we get pretty busy during the holidays) - Tranquility, as you can expect your pet to stay in our home, safe and sound! They will enjoy plenty of playtimes, nap times, food times, and short periods of sunbathing (since, after all, it's Florida!) During check-out, here's what you can expect: - A happy, calm, tired baby that has become more sociable. - A reminder to leave a review ;) Contact us and schedule a meet and greet to get to know us and our space. We are confident that you and your pet will be satisfied with the care we provide! We have a fenced yard, and the pets are never left alone outside. In partnership with a dog trainer, we have a space dedicated to the dogs and an additional spot if your pet is crate-trained, and you prefer to keep them crated. They eat separately, each in their own space. During playtime, we offer a variety of toys so they feel confident that resources are abundant - toys are just one of the many resources we use to comfort dogs. If your pet doesn't like to be around other pets or doesn't like to socialize, we can take care of your pet individually in a safe manner. This way, you can have peace of mind for any personal arrangements, travels, or activities. We are also happy to host and care for senior pets. We are very patient and can administer medications as needed.
Reviews
Great updates while we were away with lots of photos and great communication. Our pups were in great hands all week! Silvia really cares for the dogs in her care.
Another amazing stay !!
Brody loves staying at Sylvia’s and this makes our hearts so happy. She gives great updates and really cares about the dogs.
This was our second time with our senior dog staying with Audrey and Silvia and we were so happy and appreciative of how well she took care of him. Audrey and Silvia send pictures daily at least 3 times a day which I loved!! My dog always looks so happy and content in them . There were times that they had to hand feed him so he would eat all his food and I just find that so caring . Thank you so much for all your wonderful care .

Our home is fenced, so there is plenty of space for running and going potty on sunny and rainy days. Your baby will get socialization skills, and we put a great deal into reading their body language to ensure they are happy and safe.

Information Audrey & Silvia F. would like to know about your pet
We are happy to adjust to any feeding schedule and administer any oral or topical medication your dog may need. Let us know if they have any fears, preferences, or special conditions, and if they get along with other dogs - since they'll have a buddy to spend time with during their stay. We require vaccination records for your pet to stay with us, and we do not accept non-neutered dogs. Nightly rates are based on a 24-hour time period from drop-off to pick-up. Drop Off & Pick Up begin at 8:00 am and until 7:00 pm.
A typical day
We play ball in the backyard, and we have puzzles and toys that will keep them entertained and stimulated. Besides that, we like spending time with them in the lanai or enjoying sunbaths in the backyard.

Since we are a team of two, we have created a schedule for all pets staying with us. Of course, we can adapt your pet's current schedule, but remember that routine helps dogs decrease anxiety, prevent weight gain, and develop training skills. They have their own area with baby fences to keep to themselves if they'd like or simply for nap times. In the early mornings, we take them out for a quick break in the yard. We then prepare their breakfast. Once the sun is out, it's playtime; they have nap time and play times throughout the day. We also offer two mental stimulation activities; they vary between frozen treats and puzzles. This helps entertain and make them feel at ease. Early evening they have dinner, and their last potty break is at approximately 11 pm. If your pet has a different lifestyle and/or feeding schedule, please let us know, and we can accommodate.
