Pet care experience
I am 21 years old and a student at Texas State. I am an aquatic/wildlife biology major and I love animals, especially dogs. I have raised and trained 6 dogs, ranging from chihuahuas to german shepherds. The dogs I currently care for (three german shorthair pointers and one german shepherd) live with my parents, and when I stay at their house, I generally take them on 1-2 mile walks or runs. I am very capable of handling both large and small dogs. On walks, I try to always keep extra water, a collapsible bowl, and organic treats with me. I will be taking summer classes, so my weekly availability for May-mid July will be mornings before 9:00am and afternoons and evenings after 2:00pm. From mid July to mid August my availability will be mornings and afternoons after 3:00pm.

Audrey is a wonderful caretaker! She had four cats and four dogs plus a 150 gallon saltwater reef tank growing up. She is a responsible driver and has a clean driving record. I’ve trusted her taking my pets to the vet, the groomer and will even wash them at home if you want! She is a full time aquatic biology major taking organic chemistry this summer. A flexible job is a must for this hardworking energetic girl!

For instance, how does he react to other animals, is he leash-aggressive, how high is his energy level, etc. I also would like to know if he or she is trained. I prefer medium to large breeds with higher energy levels.
A typical day
I live in San Marcos, which has a large number of parks and hiking trails. We will mostly be going on hikes or runs by the San Marcos river or Purgatory creek.
