Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits, pigs, and several other animals since I was a young child. I have helped care for family, friends, and neighbors pets for years. I am comfortable giving medications and caring for geriatric pets. I moved to Dallas to start a new career following graduate school at the end of 2021. I’ve decided to keep pet sitting while establishing my new career path to help pay down my college debt. Since I am unable to be a pet parent at this time, spending time caring for and playing with your fur babies allows me to still spend time with animals.

Audrey was amazing! We have a lot going on with an anxious dog, a rabbit, a parrot and chickens and Audrey aced it all! Would highly recommend her to anyone!
Audrey was fantastic with our dogs and did a great job of making us feel comfortable being away from our pups for a weekend. She sent regular updates and our dogs were so relaxed and happy when we got home. We would definitely recommend her!
Audrey does a great job with our cats. They were well taken care of with detailed report cards and photos. Our home was nice and clean when we returned and she made an extra effort to clean up a kitty accident on a chair.

I will want to know your pet’s routine and the house rules so I can keep their routines consistent to help reduce anxiety and stress on your pets and help keep training up. I love snuggling with pets and have no problem with them sleeping with me if that is their norm. I will also want to know how they do on walks, typical walking routes/schedule, anything I need to know if other dogs come around, dietary issues, favorite toys, and if there are little comfort zones or techniques. Prior to a first house sitting or drop in visits, I would like to schedule a meet and greet with your pet to ensure we’re a good fit and help them feel the comfortable with me before I care for them while you’re gone.

A typical day
I like for us to explore the neighborhood together. I feel comfortable taking our time to allow your pup to investigate smells and am able to be firm enough to know when it is time for us to move on and how to keep them out of trouble. At least once a day, or for each drop in visit, I will send you an update letting your know how we spent our day with pictures.

Availability
I currently work a hybrid position with 3 days in the office, 2 days remote, and typically keep the hours of 9-5pm. I am able to stay in your home working from there on remote days and head there midday for bathroom and play breaks on the days I work in the office. I am available for drop in visits before or after work.
