Hi there! I’ve been living in DC for several summers and finally out here full time. Back home I have a one year old Bernedoodle named Birdie, who I plan on bringing out to DC in the next couple of months. Until then, I’d love to substitute my sadness of missing her by taking care of your loved one. To me, there is nothing more important than knowing that your kid is in good hands, loved, and attended to. And yes, they are your kids in my eyes. I think it’s important to treat other peoples’ pets as though they’re your own. My roommate joined Rover a few weeks ago and her experiences have inspired me to do the same! Currently, I work on Capitol Hill full time and am primarily available on the weekends. However, I would be available to do in-house dog sitting during the weekdays. I’m very big on transparency and communication, I hope to provide people with same the comfort and ease of leaving your pet with me as I feel with my own personal dog watcher! I might be new to this app, but am a veteran animal lover. I’ve been dog watching and sitting since grade school, have a fur baby of my own, and even boast over my sister who is a vet in Chicago - animal loving runs in the fam.
