Pet care experience
I have plenty of experience with my own critters, but I am brand new to caring for pets professionally. I currently posses a basic knowledge of how to care for animal companions (dogs, cats, freshwater fish), but I am looking forward to building my expertise with dogs and puppies specifically. I have volunteered at shelters in the past and have just started the volunteer program at the Dubuque Humane Society. My strength is that I crave knowledge and analysis; I'm moving toward a goal of expertise. My intention is to someday own a rescue or sanctuary for dogs from all walks of life. I may be green, but I'm making it my mission to become a stronger caregiver everyday whether it be taking courses and staying up-to-date in the field, or working on anticipating your needs as a client and going above and beyond to keep you happy and worry-free.

For the past five years that I have known Audra, she has consistently showed up to help care for myself and those in her life. She is thoughtful, intentional, and fun to be around. I believe Audra would be a great dog sitter and could handle any need a dog or family may have.
Audra has come to my house many times over the last years to put my dogs outside on their potty break. We don't have a fenced yard so the dogs need to put on leashes securely so they don't get away. They are small dogs and she stays with them when they are outside to be sure a larger dog doesn't wander into the yard. Afterward she visits with the dogs in the house for a little while. Sometimes she feeds them if needed. She has been dependable, never missing an appointment, and she has been kind to the dogs.
