Former Dog Trainer w/ Fenced Yard

Pet care experience

I have always loved animals and have shared my life with pretty much every kind of animal imaginable - from common house pets to exotic animals and even livestock. I have always strived to be the best animal guardian and caregiver I can be. From ‘20-‘22 I ran a private dog training business and I have certifications in animal CPR, dog health and nutrition, dog behavior, and positive reinforcement training. During my childhood and teenage years I was an AKC Junior Handler and 4-H dog showmanship and obedience handler at the master level. I have a lifetime of experience handling even the most unique or challenging situations as well as the knowledge and resources to provide the best care I can for your pet. I share my life with my two children, our border collie (Ollie), and a betta fish (Sunshine). While your pet is staying with us they are part of our family. ❤️

Aubrey was a wonderful boarder for our dog, Pato! She sent fun updates and pictures regularly and communicated pick up and drop off clearly. We were nervous about how he would interact with her daycare dogs but she was patient and introduced him slowly and Pato seemed to have a great time. We will definitely be using Aubrey in the future!

Aubrey does a great job caring for our dog Whiskey. She provides updates, is communicative, and has a great space for dogs to romp around.

Franklin had a good time playing with Ollie! I am confident that Aubrey has excellent experience and knowledge about dogs and her manner is professional.

Safety, trust & environment

All first-time guests start with meet and greet prior to booking. This 15-20 minute first introduction gives us all a chance to meet, discuss everything your dog (and you) will need during their stay, and make sure your dog is comfortable and a good fit for Daycare or Boarding at my home. - All guests must be friendly with other animals and young children, with no history of reactive or aggressive behavior. - Senior dogs and dogs with additional medical needs can almost always be accommodated and are welcome. - Puppies under 6 months old and dogs who are not reliably potty trained are welcome for an additional fee of $5/day since they require additional around the clock care. - Dogs who are not yet spayed or neutered are welcome. However, I cannot accommodate female dogs who are in heat or are pregnant. ---- I provide all guests with stainless steel bowls, a crate (including crates for toy and giant breeds), durable toys, plush orthopedic beds, and lots of loving care and attention.

A typical day

I only host a maximum of 3 guests at a time so I can truly get to know your dog and make my home their home-away-from-home. I try to make everyday filled with a balance of engaging games, walks in the neighborhood or to the local lake, having fun in the yard, and hanging out/napping. During their stay your dog becomes part of the family and their joy and comfort are my priority.
