All dogs are lapdogs
Pet care experience
I’ve been around cats and big dogs my whole life and helped take care of them the whole way. I've had my own dog for about 6 years and have been figuring out reactivity alongside him. All dogs are good dogs, some just need some help chilling out. If your pup is with me for daycare, they will be kept separately from mine until I know their behavior and we’ve had a few meet and greets for the pups to make sure they will get along. For everyone’s safety, i do require all animals I care for to be up to date on vaccines and on flea/tick prevention. I will need to see proof of vaccination before confirming any appointments. You can send them via the app or bring them to the meet and greet!

Aubrey has taken wonderful care of our dogs and cats. She's loving and loyal. We are beyond grateful and so are our pets! Thank you!

When going for walks I keep a spare slip leash on me. The leash doesn’t leave my hand until the door has closed. I’m always on the lookout for other dogs on walks and do not let dogs interact if I don’t know them and their quirks. I keep myself between the dog I’m walking and any approaching. I also make sure to have pepper spray on hand for worst case scenario. My dog's reactivity has perhaps made me a bit too cautious, but it's better to be safe than sorry!

Information Aubrey R. would like to know about your pet
Do they have any behavioral quirks? Is there behavior you want me to reinforce while spending time with your pup? Do they get mouthy or jump when excited? Do they have any dietary restrictions? Am I okay to give them treats?
A typical day
I like to play fetch and flirt pole if they have the drive for it. I’m careful to make sure they’re not pushing themselves too hard and the sessions tend to be pretty short at first to avoid injury. I keep two peanut butter Kongs in my freezer at all times. I also keep lick mats and a snuffle mat on hand for mental stimulation. Keeping your dog mentally and physically stimulated is important - especially for working breeds.

I work full time from home. I can take breaks throughout the day as long as I've got my phone on me and have given my work a heads up on where I’ll be. We are currently a bit slow so I have a bit more free time and flexibility.
