Aubrey is caring and dependable. She puts her pets first in her life, but her love for animals doesn't stop there. Anytime we're out and she sees a lost dog she always stops whatever she's doing to make sure they are safely returned to their owner. She even keeps a backup leash in her car specifically for this purpose! She has a big dog so she's comfortable walking dogs of any size! I would trust her with my dogs in a heartbeat.

Firstly, Aubrey is a huge dog lover and every dog I’ve ever seen her interact with has absolutely loved her back. She has a large, I believe German Shepherd mix, rescue dog, Moseley, who she’s personally owned for several years. Moseley is very obedient to Aubrey, and I’ve seen her exercise a great deal of patience, use positive re-enforcement with food and toys, and give him firm directives to stay or lay down very effectively when he’s exhibited overly excitable behavior with her guests. She’s also great with my small, poodle-mix dog, another rescue who was abused in a previous home and tends to be very anxious-aggressive with new people. The first few times Aubrey visited our home, she seemed to intuitively know exactly how to act around and gain the trust of my dog, and after very little time she had him sitting on her lap and begging her for pets! Second, she has hands-on experience working with dogs at Austin Pets Alive, which I think will make her effective at problem-solving and interacting with the dogs she would be walking. Lastly, Aubrey is one of the most dependable people I have ever had the pleasure of being friends with. She takes her commitments seriously and is always ready to follow through and pitch in effort where it’s needed. She is absolutely qualified and I think she would do a fantastic job.
