Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs in the house, training from puppies, or retraining as rescues. All of my childhood dogs have aged with us, so I have experience working with dogs from puppy to senior age. Along with this, I had a childhood cat who lived to be 21 years old, so I have experience with elderly cats. Over the years I have had the pleasure to meet many other animals with varying personalities, but the love stays the same. I feel energized and calm while spending time with animals. My professional experience includes but is not limited to -long term home stays (3+weeks) -working on animal sanctuaries -caring for sick animals -descalating animal conflict - bathing and grooming animals -exercising dogs

Aubrey is an exceptional dog walker and an incredible presence to have around. During a heat wave this summer, she walked my dog Bella and adapted her walks based on the weather conditions. Some days they'd go on long adventurous walks together, and on other days they'd stay inside to play in the air conditioning (Bella's choice). When I came home from work, it was easy to tell the days Aubrey had stopped by our house based on Bella's excited mood. I appreciated receiving photos of their walks together, which showcased the fun experiences they were having together, like stopping by the lake to grab a drink.
I have seen aubrey has care for various animals over the years i have known them. From working on a farm animal sactuary, to doing in-home pet sitting, and humble dog walking, Aubrey is diligent in their responsibilities over the animals they care for. Most notably, Aubrey sees the individual needs of the animals in their care and adapts to them, ensuring that each critter is happy and healthy on their own terms.

I value gentle integration when it comes to fostering new relationships with animals. You can expect that your necessary training practices will be upheld while I am with your animal! The only thing I suggest is that your dog has harness if they need to be walked. Besides that, your furry friend will get lots of pets, and good conversation with me, you can trust that!

Swimming in the river, cross country skiing, hiking, bird/squirrel watching, listening to music, jogging, fetch, belly rubs, treats, socializing, nap time, laying in the sun. Our day will be filled with both our favourite things.
