Pet care experience
Aubrey is a compassionate animal lover with over a decade of experience caring for animals of all kinds. She grew up with rats, cats, dogs, and as an only child, spoils all animals that enter our home. Christopher grew up on a cattle farm, caring for indoor and outdoor dogs and cats, as well as an array of farm animals! We’ve found ourselves working from home a bit and would like to use the time to give your pets a fun and safe place to stay. We have a dog of our own and three cats, and would love to add your pet to the mix! We have a spare bedroom and have space for every animal to sleep separately if need be. As two millennials living in the city, our pets are our children. We’ll treat yours the same!

always great!
Gene always has an amazing time with Aubrey and her dog Penny. She is fantastic at accommodating his needs!! We are so grateful to have found a place for our dog to stay where we feel totally comfortable and at ease. Thank you, Aubrey!
Repeat and always great’

Our for babies get breakfast at 7 AM, a light snack at noon, and dinner at 5 PM. We are happy to align your feeding schedule with ours, or provide meals based on your recommendation. Potty breaks are usually right before meal time, with additional walks as needed. We live in a gated community with a courtyard and picnic tables, so there are plenty of smells. Our beagle mix needs plenty of exercise, so we are used to high energy animals needing frequent walks/runs. Several of our animals are on medication, so we have become quite experienced with delivering medication if necessary. We also have a pet first aid kit ready to go should it every be needed (so far we’ve been lucky to just keep it in the closet).

Information Aubrey C. would like to know about your pet
We would like to know about any allergies, medications, and things to be aware of such as: food/space/resource guarding, problems with other animals, energy levels, dietary needs, sleeping/eating habits, and anything relevant! We love to get to know the dogs we welcome into our home ?
A typical day
We take the dogs for a walk around our complex as soon as we wake up. Following the walk breakfast is served in separate eating areas so everyone feels safe and there are no issues. There are lots of neighbors who have dogs and plenty of folks that like to say hello! Because our beagle loves to sniff, we typically do scent enrichment by tossing treats in the grass and allowing her to find them, which is a great way to stimulate high-energy dogs! Christopher will also take dogs on a run in the morning if they need to burn some energy before the day gets started.
