I know what it's like trying to find someone trustworthy of caring for your fur-babies while you're away. I'm someone you can trust your baby(ies) will love. I live in a multi-level townhouse, so please advise if your pup has any trouble up and down stairs. Getting their nails trimmed prior to the stay is recommended for their comfort as I've got a lot of laminate and tile flooring. Two 12yo cats are here too, so let me know if your baby would have an issue. I have a dog blanket here, but it might bring your dog some comfort to have a bed of their own brought over during their stay. So, I ask that you please bring: --- doggie bed --- food (include some wet food or chicken broth, as sometimes pups aren't comfortable eating in a new environment) --- poop bags (biodegradable is better for the environment!) --- leash --- favorite toys --- treats For some dogs that tend not to eat when they're away from their home, bringing over some canned wet food is recommended as it entices dogs to eat their food. I will mix a bit of the wet food into the dry. Aside from small reward treats, I highly recommend the beef knee caps and Yak Chews, available at any major pet supply retailer. These help keep your pup's teeth clean, but isn't terrible on their stomachs like rawhide. Multiple dogs from the same family and long stays are no problem with me at all! Overnight boarding is counted as 24hrs and daycare is counted as 12hrs. I'll give a little bit of time beyond that for coordinating pick up. For example, if you have trip for work and will need to drop off your pup at 7am on Monday to catch a plane, but won't be able to pick him/her up until on Tuesday night at 9p, let's do this: Book an overnight stay for the Monday and then daycare for the Tuesday. Whether boarding at my house or home visits: Please advise of any dietary restrictions, injuries, behaviors of the dog (leashed at all times or off-leash, anxiety, shyness, high energy, aggression toward other dogs/people/cats, etc), special commands, on the couch okay or not okay, etc. Please also let me know of the times of day you feed your pup. I'm currently not scheduling any "Meet-N-Greets." Repeated no-shows have left me discouraged recently. You can trust that everything I've written here is correct and true about my Rover services.
