Pet care experience
I have experience with: - Small to Medium sized dogs, Cats - Senior Cocker Spaniel - Dogs that are reactive and have anxious tendencies -Administering oral medication -Basic training (using a clicker, positive reinforcement w/ praise and treats) I've taken care of animals for a very long time - I was an only child so I grew up with plenty of pets! I've cared for cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, dogs, turtles and even horses! I have experience with senior dogs, and adopted/ shelter animals - I understand the patience that's required when caring for them. I have volunteered at my local SPCA and other animal charities that involved tending to animals' needs. Pets are like family to me, so you can trust that I will treat them as such!

To Whom It May Concern: Athena has been taking excellent care of our cats for a number of years, and I enthusiastically recommend her pet sitting services. Leaving town can be very stressful, but I am always comfortable that our kits (and our house) are in good hands when Athena is sitting. I can tell she genuinely enjoys taking care of animals and feels deeply responsible for their well-being. Beyond feeding and cleaning up after our cats, she sits and plays with each. I appreciate that Athena has gotten to know them – and, importantly, they know and respond well to her. She also is responsive when I check in during a trip. I like that I can reach her in various ways, including phone, text, WhatsApp, email, and Instagram DM. Finally, Athena is reliable and also flexible. Every household and every pet is unique; Athena adapts her caregiving to accommodate those differences and adjusts to any situation.

I live in a one bedroom apartment that has a balcony with my little doggo. I live in a pretty & quiet neighborhood with lots of hills (perfect for walking and getting some exercise in)! Lots of grassy areas as well for dogs to do their business :) Just let me know what your pup needs so that I can be prepared- any specific behaviors to watch out for, medication, allergies, triggers, or special needs. I follow all instructions to the best of my ability!

A typical day
I’m spontaneous! I love going on walks around the block/ neighborhood or I’ll take them to a nearby park. If they have toys to play with, I will also gladly keep them entertained with those!

Availability
I work part-time in West Hollywood - Mondays & Wednesdays (until 1pm), and Tuesdays & Fridays (until 11am). This is my regular schedule, but it can change every now and then. I will always keep my schedule updated on Rover, but please do not ever hesitate to inquire about my availability! I use Rover for my own dog as well, so I know what it's like to be kept waiting. I will respond to all requests promptly so that you can get the care that you need!
