Athena was great with our kitties! She was very punctual and thorough, letting us know what the kitties were up to and sending lots of pictures each day. She was so great getting my shy little girl to warm up to her. It is great to know that my babies are in good hands while I’m away.

Athena is a fantastic pet sitter and I’ll definitely reach out to her when I need a sitter again. In the meet and greet, my cats liked her immediately because of her sweet and welcoming disposition. I know Athena cared about my kitties and my betta fish, Opal. She gave me fun updates with photos from each visit. Her compassion for animals and attention to detail made me feel more comfortable about being away ...

Athena could not be a better pet sitter and could not be more loving/caring and more amazing with my kitties Mosley and Mimi. She went above and beyond taking care of our kitties when my husband and I were on vacation in Europe this October. She gave us daily updates on how the visits went on Rover and even took photos on each visit which was so wonderful when we were missing our kitties ...

Responsible & A True Animal Lover

Hello and Welcome to Rover. My name is Athena and I'm a professional dog walker and pet sitter. Not only am I an animal lover, but I'm insured and bonded and schooled in pet first aid and CPR. I'm the proud mom of three kitties -- one very vocal Siamese, one very quiet Siamese, and one territorial gray kitty from a litter of kittens we rescued. In my spare time, I walk and socialize dogs at ...

What Athena would like to know about your dog

- confirm the dates of service and how often I will be visiting your home

Drop-In Visits (60 Minutes) include basic services, PLUS:

All drop-in visits and walks include updates and photos of the outing/visit so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing.

For dogs, two visits per day allows them to get a bathroom break approximately every 10 to 12 hours. For many dogs, that is enough. For other dogs, three visits per day may be better as the dog can go out for a walk in the morning, in the middle of the day, and again before bedtime. Things to consider:

- Does your pet have access to the outside?
- How many times per day do you usually feed your pet?
- How old is your pet?
- Is your pet crated?
- Is your pet on medication?
- How social is your pet?
- Does your pet have separation anxiety?

Cats do not need to be outside because they have litter boxes. However, at least one visit per day is recommended for the health and well-being of your cat.

Providing the best of care for your pet(s) is of utmost importance to me. Although I do not charge for additional pets, I can provide optimum care for 3 dogs or 4 cats per visit. More than 2 pets necessitates a 60-minute visit so that each pet receives the care and attention they deserve.

I charge PER VISIT not PER PET. My rates are $15/per 30-minute visit, $30/per 60-minute visit. If you prefer, I can hold on to your key for the next time you need pet sitting or I can return it to you, after you return, for a $15 return key fee. I do not leave keys in the home on the last day of pet sitting so that I can provide continued care for your pet in the event you are delayed.

I'm at ease with small, medium, or large dogs and cats and I'm comfortable giving medications, orally. I'm also an Oregon Dog Rescue donor/volunteer and donate 3% of all my proceeds to the Oregon Humane Society.

Please message me upon returning home from your trip. Should you be delayed and not able to reach me, I will continue to care for your pet(s) until you return home.

Regardless of what we schedule, I will stay for as long as it takes to make sure your pet is happy, secure, and comfortable.

For safety reasons, I walk a maximum of two dogs at a time.
