My name is Athena and I’m a graduate student that’s off for the summer - meaning I will be sitting at home all day :) And I honestly cant think of anything that would be better than hanging out with dogs all day. I have a sweet 5 year old french bulldog pup, Otto, who I take on walks frequently and he would love a buddy to hang with! We live in the Pearl and close to Fields Park (with a dog park!) and I often take Otto there. I know that life can be complicated and busy, so let me help with walking or taking care of your loved one! Otto has a lot of specific needs such as environmental and food allergies, so I totally understand if your pup needs some extra TLC as well. :)

Athena is a fantastic pet sitter! I was lucky enough to find her on really short notice. My 13 week puppy had just arrived and I was having to leave on a business trip. Athena put my concerns at ease, and treated my little Jake like he was her own. To calm my new mommy nerves Athena sent me updates with pictures and videos multiple times per day. She also followed Jake's strict puppy diet and administered meds for a mild cold he had. If I could give an overall rating higher than 5 stars I would! Look no further for someone who will give your pet the best most loving care!
I truly cannot describe how wonderful Athena is. I have two dogs, and one of them does not have use of her hind legs. Athena cares for our pups like they are her own! She takes them on long walks and showers them will love and attention. The best part is, they get along with her own dog like they've all known each other forever! I was so sad when Athena told me she was moving to Portland because I don't know if I'll find another sitter as wonderful as she is. Your pups will be in the best hands with her!

I try my very best to cater to each pup as they are all so different! What are their needs? Do they need some personal space or are they a cuddler? How do they play with other dogs? Do they like to go to the dog park? Where is their favorite spot to get pets and scratches? Are they potty trained and how often do they have to go? Do they have any allergies I should be aware of? Only exception: no aggressive or extremely territorial pups. Otherwise, all are welcome! Even the itty bitty pups :)
A typical day
Otto and I like to cuddle at home and watch Netflix. We go on walks around the Pearl 3x a day and make a trip to the Fields park pretty often as well! Your pup will be taken on the same walks! If it’s on a weekend, we will be adventuring out for hikes and picnics (weather permitting) :)
