Athena has been in the Veterinary Science course at Silicon Valley CTE since the beginning of the 2016-2017 school year. As the instructor of the class I have observed Athena during this time, demonstrating a learned skill, presenting an assigned topic, helping other students achieve their goals, while taking on extra curricular activities as long as it involves learning and caring about animals. Athena is intelligent and is currently receiving an A grade in the course. Athena does not hesitate to ask for help or clarification of a concern she may have, especially involving ethical behavior. Athena is articulate and is able to communicate with other students at all levels.
