Athena is a very patient and kind dog sitter. She’s watched my dog, Riker, overnight on a few separate occasions and I’ve never worried about him during any of these times because he likes her so much and is always so excited to see her. Your fur babies will be in good hands with Athena!
My Maltese, Wrigley, is an anxious dog and did wonderfully with Athena. Her customer service far exceeded my expectations and she made a point to ease my mind and let me know Wrigley was doing great. Athena is trustworthy, responsible but most importantly was loving towards my dog and treated Wrigley like family. I would highly recommend Athena for all your pet care needs.
Athena is responsible and dependable. I trust her to care for both my pup and cat. She is empathetic and really cares for the welfare of my pets. She will also make the effort to spend quality time with them, whether it be playing, just hanging out, or having some fun training sessions. My pets love her.

I live in an apartment and have plenty of time and energy to walk and play with pets. When boarding pets, they will need to stay inside as I don’t have a fenced yard. If pets are staying at their home, I ensure they have enough food and water, ample playtime, walks (for dogs), and that nothing toxic/dangerous is within reach. When caring for dogs I prioritize our time between providing them sufficient exercise and mental stimulation (practicing tricks, sensory stimulation, etc).

A typical day
I love to care for dogs and make sure they are getting enough physical and mental stimulation. I walk dogs for at least 30 minutes to give them plenty of chance for exercise and sniffing! I live by a lake so I would love to walk a few laps around with them.

I work in social work and my position is hybrid, so I am only in office (20 min away) 2 days a week for 5 hours a day (usually Tues & Thurs) and the rest of my week I work from home!
