Pet care experience
I have experience with giving medications ( pill pockets, pills in cheese, syringe, ear medication, ointments, etc.) and preparing specific meals (added vitamins, wet food, dry food, added broth, etc.). So, I can help make sure your dog is well taken care of! I also love to keep your dog active and engaged if that's what they need! I am willing to also continue with any training that may have been started. I will make sure to keep the commands consistent so as to not confuse the dog. I have some experience with dogs of all sizes and ages. I grew up with dogs and am very comfortable with them. I have also handled dogs of different energy levels. Some very active and others calmer.

Aspen was wonderful! Both of our dogs were happy and healthy when we returned, even our elderly girl who is on several different meds. Aspen kept in touch regularly and sent pictures which made my day:) I would highly recommend Aspen!
We arranged for Aspen to house/dog sit while we were on vacation for 8 days. My first impression of her was that she is adaptable, calm/soothing, truly loves animals and tremendous strength of character! My dogs mauled her, which was a great indication of her compassion and their comfort level/trust. Aspen was eager to watch our 2 larger dogs, one with bladder issues, 2 small dogs and a puppy at the time, not to mention a self-sufficient cat. She communicated with us every day via text and sent pictures of our fur family which was great! Unfortunately, our little dogs had some digestive issues while we were away, but Aspen confidently managed changing their diet temporarily and doing some necessary clean-up, including bathing, to get them back on track. We felt very secure knowing that our dogs, and home, were in good hands while we were away! We have since used Aspen on a couple of other occasions to stop by and interact with the dogs when work schedules are heavy, and they are always excited when she shows up! We highly recommend Aspen, as she is very eager to give love and care to your pets, and is competent, flexible, and a joy to work with!

I do not have a breed preference, but I would like to know which breed and how old a dog is before I start sitting them. I would also like to know a little bit about the dog's personality and interests. For example, are they high energy or low, do they prefer outside or inside games, etc.
A typical day
I can take your dog for a walk around the neighborhood or if there is a specific park that your dog is familiar with I can take them there. I am also comfortable with playing fetch, using toys, training, tug-of-war, etc.
