Pet care experience
I have owned dogs and cats since I was 10 years old. I have been dog sitting for our neighbors and friends for the past 12 years. I am experienced with handling dogs of different sizes and temperaments. I am used to medicating pets, both my own and for the ones I am temporarily taking care of. I have volunteered with the Humane Society at different stages in my life and have fostered dogs and cats with them. I am now in a situation where I have a house and yard big enough to enjoy the company of more dogs or cats. I love animals and have two dogs and a cat. I work from home and can devote 100% attention to the animals I am taking care of.

Anshu was such a great host. She provided regular updates and our border collie looked very comfortable with her and her pets. Would use her services again for sure.
Chippy had a great time at Ashu’s home with her babies! She made sure that Chippy felt comfortable and safe. Ashu sends pictures which I loved and appreciated. I felt at ease leaving Chippy in her care. Thank you for taking care of Chippy and would definitely ask for your assistance when we visit back.
Ponyo had a great time with Ashu and her dogs. Ashu was very communicative and treated Ponyo very well while she was in her care. I would highly recommend Ashu as she treated Ponyo as one of her own! I appreciated all the cute photo updates, thank you Ashu!

I have a fenced yard that the puppies have access to during the day. They are never left outside unattended and will be always accompanied by a human. I also have doggie crates and beds inside the house if that's what the puppy prefers. For cats they have access to a separate area of the house that has doggie gates, in case they want their alone time.

Let me know what your pup needs to feel at home. I can accommodate walking and feeding schedules as needed. Please list any known allergies or other special care instructions. What I need with your pet on dropoff day: 1. Pet with collar and lead 2. Food with feeding instructions. List of allergies 3. Bed if they have one they prefer, or a blanket with your or their scent, so that they get comfortable in our house 4. Any medications with instructions 5. Treats if they are specific to your pet, otherwise we will always provide treats
A typical day
I have two dogs of our own and take them on a minimum of 2 walks in a day. Each walk is usually between 30- 60 mins to tire them out. I also have a lot of trails accessible in a nearby regional park and we hike religiously on the weekend.

Availability
I work from home at least 4 of 5 days. I go on 30-45 minute walks twice every day and my puppies get access to our yard throughout the day. For cats they have access to a separate area of the house that has doggie gates, in case they want their alone time.
