Pet care experience
Taking care of dogs is what gives me purpose in life! Dogs have been apart of my life since the moment I was born and so I've always had a natural connection with them. I am available pretty much whenever you need me. I am willing to work with feeding schedules, medication schedules, and I can bathe your dog if you wish while they stay with me! I also have three dogs of my own, so your dog can have playmates to have more fun with while staying with me. I’ve owned dogs my entire life- from Chihuahuas, to Labradors, to Cane Corsos! I now breed Olde English Bulldogges, so you can trust that I am very dog-knowleadgable and know how to handle big bully breeds or tiny dogs and unfixed animals. I’ve even hand-reared puppies, kittens, and rabbits in my past.

Recently had Pumbaa stay with Ashton for a day, and I couldn't be happier with the care she provided! Ashton was attentive to all of Pumbaa's needs, following his feeding and potty schedule to the letter, and ensuring he had the right amount of play and rest. It was clear she took the time to understand his personality and needs, especially regarding his interactions with other pets. I really appreciated her commitment to keeping me updated throughout the day. Pumbaa came home happy and well-cared for. I'll definitely be using Ashton's services again and highly recommend her to other pet parents looking for a trustworthy and compassionate sitter.
Ashton and her dogs are fantastic companions for my young dog. Ashton also has been accommodating with us on drop off and pick up when work schedules vary. I have so appreciated her calm demeanor, understanding of dogs and a secure place in the city.
Ashton took very good care of our fur baby and Dough had a great time staying with her and her pups. She is very patient and responsible and offer timely reply when I message her and ask questions. She also sent us many cute pictures of Dough playing with her pups every day.
Ashton was so great with my pup! Had a long trip requiring boarding and my pup had stomach issues the day before I had to leave. Ashton was still happy to take him in and helped his upset stomach. Will definitely be going back to Ashton soon!

I’m able to do frequent potty breaks. I’m also okay with doing long walks or taking them to a park. I exercise my down dogs for at least an hour on a daily basis so I don't mind having another to tag along!

Information Ashton T. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog is kennel trained for when I have to sleep. Also, I would prefer if your dog was housebroken completely, or at least somewhat housebroken. I accept unaltered female dogs as well as female dogs in heat as I have many years of experience handling unaltered animals. All of my own dogs are unaltered.
A typical day
Being in the Capitol Hill area, walking is the best way to get around! I am within walking distance from multiple parks that my own pooches and I enjoy frequenting.

Availability
I am completely free Monday through Thursday- I am still available on the weekends but I do work a night shift on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights so I leave it to the pet owner's discretion. However, I feel as though this does not debilitate me from caring for a dog well and providing them with enough stimulation as most dogs and even people sleep at night, and my partner is home full time to be able to take them to potty or do whatever else the dog may require while I'm away! I also make up for it by doing a long walk after I get home or take them to a dog park if approved by the owner.
